Born in Beaufort, SC, and a resident of Montgomery County for more than 26 yrs, Sharon attended grade school at St. Mary's in Schwenksville and St. Pius X High School in Pottstown before graduating from Pottsgrove High School. While at Shippensburg University of PA working on a Bachelor's Degree in History, she was accepted into Officer Candidate School for the United States Marine Corps at Quantico, VA.  After graduating from Shippensburg University, Sharon accepted a sales position with the country's largest elevator company and was promoted several times to become the youngest and only female sales manager in the industry in the Philadelphia market.  She is currently employed as the first female sales rep for a mechanical contractor in Northeast Philadelphia called Fluidics and volunteers her time with the Montgomery County Young Republicans and past political campaigns, namely the re-election campaign of Senator Rick Santorum where she served as his Veteran's Coalition Director for the NE.  Sharon looks forward to pursuing a more active role with the Young Republicans this year and was recently appointed Committeewoman for West Norriton 1-1. An avid soccer player, she plays in the Tri County Womens Soccer League for the King of Prussia Soccer Club and resides in West Norriton, PA with her yellow lab, Murphy.

Anthony is a 2001 graduate from Juniata College with a B.A. in Management and Marketing and currently resides in Montgomeryville, where he has lived for the past three and a half years.  He is originally from rural Lancaster County where his conservative roots began at a young age. His father served as a Republican on the board of Donegal School District for 12 years, including 8 as president.  His mother currently serves as a Republican committee person in Lancaster County and also works as a Legislative Aid in the 98th District, a seat long held by Republicans. Along with volunteering as a teenager on his father’s three campaigns,Anthony has also worked as a volunteer for Bush-Cheney 04, Santorum 06, and other local races in Montgomery County.  He has been attending YR meetings for about the last year and half and looks forward to further helping the organization.

Melissa graduated from Temple University in 1998 where she received her BA in Accounting/Finance she also received her Masters of Science in Taxation from Philadelphia University in December 2001.  Melissa just recently left Public Accounting to work for Teva Pharmaceuticals in their tax department. Melissa has lived in Horsham since 1994. Since childhood Melissa has been active in many campaigns from stuffing envelopes for PA congressmen and working the polls on Election Day.  Most recently she helped out in Bush/Cheney 2004 and phone banks/door to door for various campaigns in 2006.  Melissa is also the Youth Minister/Life Teen Coordinator at St Catherine of Siena in Horsham. In her spare time Melissa likes to read, go shopping and she bleeds Phillies Red and Eagles Green.

After growing up in Philadelphia, Joe has lived in various parts of Montgomery County since 1994. A 2001 graduate of Millersville University, with a B.A. in Marketing, Joe is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at Philadelphia University, with the ultimate goal of even furthering his education. A new member to the Young Republicans in 2006, Joe enjoys working throughout the Party on a volunteer basis and looks forward to being a more active member in 2007 and beyond. Currently employed in marketing, Joe currently resides in Horsham and enjoys reading, music, golf and following the Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Red Sox.

Mark moved to Montgomery County 11 years ago after earning a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University . Originally from Ireland , he moved to the Pittsburgh area with his family in the 70s and currently resides in Wayne with his wife Karen.  Having followed politics for many years the political climate in 2006 compelled him to join the Montgomery County Young Republican’s and assist with the Santorum re-election campaign.

A 1999 graduate of Syracuse University, with a BS in Information Management and Technology, Sara currently works as the District Director for Congressman Jim Gerlach. Previously, she served as the Republican State Committee Victory 2006 Coordinator for Montgomery County and as the Director of Community and Economic Development in U.S. Senator Rick Santorum's Philadelphia office. She grew up in Northern Central PA, a.k.a, the “T” of Pennsylvania, and spent three years after college living in the liberal hotbed of Seattle, WA, where she quickly rediscovered her conservative roots. An active member of the Montco YRs for over four years, Sara served as Chairman from 2005-2007, is a past Recording Secretary, and currently serves as South Eastern Regional Director for the Pennsylvania Federation of Young Republicans; in addition, she is a committee person in Lower Merion 4-1. Finally, Sara was an active volunteer for the Bush/Cheney 04 Campaign.
